While you can certainly get lice/nit controlling shampoo for a lot cheaper they also tend to have a smell to them that would put off most kids from wanting it used on them or adults with a sensitive smell whereas this one does the job while still smelling like ordinary shampoo and aiming to keep the roots healthy at the same time. It is also made completely from natural ingredients which means that while being pleasant to use I won't have to worry about any negative side effects from it. This is likely not a shampoo that you would use often anyway in all honesty unless you were to work somewhere that would have them more often like school. That aside seems relatively recommendable if you prefer natural made products and have the budget.

This is a great natural alternative to use instead of regular insecticides. A small amount is quite potent!
As it does not have bad side effects, it makes sense to try this first and only if it does not kill all the bugs, then move to the industrial stuff.

It didn't dry my hair out badly at all, and with some good conditioner afterward, my hair felt just as good as the other shampoos I use.

I ordered this for my daughter as she always uses a well-known branded shampoo for children as a headlice prevention and is very happy with it but I thought it was a good idea to give another brand a go, especially as it is made with natural ingredients. Not surprisingly it has a strong tea tree smell which is quite pleasant. She said it lathered nicely and is just as happy with it as her usual shampoo. She has very long hair and it makes it look shiny and smooth. The only thing I'm a little unsure of is that it says in the description that it eliminates head lice, so I'm not sure if it's aimed at people who already have head lice or as more of a preventative measure. I can't comment on it effectiveness at eliminating head lice but I can confirm that my daughter has not had any since using it so it seems to be working as a preventative shampoo.

This really is an expensive shampoo, even with the natural element to it, and I am not so sure I could justify the cost even as a preventative shampoo. But, I think it does smell nice and my hair liked it, which is a miracle in itself at the moment!

I ordered this for my two little boys as I had heard that some of their classmates had lice so I thought we would err on the side of caution.

I have checked them both and not found anything but thought there is no harm in using this shampoo. I thought that perhaps they (and me) might turn their noses up at it because of the smell (I guess because I remember lice treatment from when I was young which always smelt awful) but when I opened it there was nothing overpowering or chemically about it and so I just didnt mention what it was to them and just used it. It felt like it made their hair nice and clean without stripping it and didnt get any massive smell left over on their hair when it was dry either.

I probably only put shampoo on their hair once or twice a week so I think I will just continue to use this for the time being to ward off any potential attacks!

This has to be worth a try if you have headlice going around your child’s school, or any other environment. I got for my 7 year old daughter as there is lice in school and I had to treat her already a few times as they keep coming back, so anything that can prevent her from catching them again is very helpful

The shampoo itself comes in a pump bottle but I found the mechanism does not work well.
The shampoo is not the thick creamy type, I don’t know how to explain but it’s slightly drier more like some harsher shampoos I’ve had before for curly hair. It’s something you wouldn’t want to use daily but once or twice a week and use their regular shampoo in between

Working in a school its rife with out breaks and although I find combing out nits (when I rarely get them) I think this shampoo works really well as a strong deterrent to repelling them. The shampoo is not obnoxious with smell either like many of the nit products, it actually smells nice, but you can tell that it has quality ingredients in it due to this as they're clearly listed on the bottle. I like the aesthetic of the brand and the packaging too. I do think for repeat customers the price is a little high as a parent isn't going to spend this on their child, they'll get the pharmacy bought kiddy one, so if this is aimed at adults only it works but I think they'd sell a lot more if slightly cheaper. I do however also think the effect of a shampoo it has is also really good as its not dis similar to a regular shampoo. Overall, 4 stars.

My husband didn't like the smell but I thought it was quite pleasant, not the usual nasty smelling lice repellent type but more of a tolerable nice smell for sure!

Left both my daughters hair lovely soft and clean, my only gripe is the price. For the size it's a little expensive in comparison to others on the market, however, if money is no issue then yes this is brilliant! But would be nice if it was more affordable to the wider market!

I did a lot of research on what shampoo would help me with my hair. I wash mine daily, and I have noticed that my hair is different. It doesn't fall out as much, and it just looks better. I highly recommend using it just before you notice excessive hair loss to strengthen it. And it smells nice.

This is a generously-sized bottle of shampoo that provides a defensive weapon in what can sometimes seem like an endless battle with nits in young children’s hair. Its fragrance is low-key but (at least to my mind) subtly pleasing. I’m pleased to have this product available for whenever it might be needed.
